Friends of St Andrew's

Have you got a child at St. Andrew’s CE Primary School, or are you a member of staff? Then you are a member of the Parent Teacher Association known as FoSA (the Friends of St Andrew's).

The PTA exists to support the life and work of the School and is open to all members of the school community.
The Association provides invaluable support to the school through organising many social and fundraising events involving parents and the wider local community.

Money raised provides extra facilities and equipment for the pupils. The PTA identifies long and short-term projects
for its fund-raising and some of their successes are our wonderful MUGA and supporting the updating of our library.
The PTA needs the support of parents to ensure it is able to continue to enrich the lives of children.

Visit the PTA Facebook site: www.facebook.com/standrewsweypta

The current chair of the PTA is Kim Larner

We are always looking for new ideas and new people to join us. If you are interested in finding out more about the Friends of St Andrew’s or would like to get involved please email us at pta@standrews.dsat.org.uk

Parent Volunteers

We welcome parents to work alongside the staff in school and such involvement is invaluable for all concerned.

Help can be with regular help with hearing readers, helping to look after our library or gardening plots or to help with trips.

Volunteers are required to complete a simple registration form prior to starting to help in school – these are available from the school office.

All volunteers regularly working in school are required to have checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Please speak to the school office about this.
