Pupil Premium and Sports Premium

Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding paid to schools in respect of their disadvantaged pupils (pupils who have been registered for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years or are looked after continuously by the local authority for more than six months).

Schools receive this funding to support their eligible pupils to have an equitable experience at school and narrow the attainment gap between them and their peers.

At St Andrew’s eligible families have access to vouchers to support buying school uniform for £25, have school trips subsidised and can apply for free access to breakfast club.

The school also uses this funding to support quality education for the children and ensure that children experience a range of enrichment activities whilst at school. It also supports the pastoral and welfare support available to children and families.

If you think you are eligible you can apply here Dorset Free School Meals
