Wider Curriculum

Wider Curriculum In addition to English and mathematics, children are taught to develop their knowledge, skills, understanding and creativity in a wide range of subjects including science, computing, history, geography, design technology, music, art, physical education and religious education (which uses the 'Discovery' syllabus).  This is taught mainly through the Cornerstones framework, on a two year rolling programme. Additionally, French is taught in Key Stage 2 at Years 5 and 6 currently.

Curriculum Flow

Below, you will find information about each subject area through our 'curriculum flow' models. The Curriculum Flow models demonstrate when different aspects of a subject are taught, and how these flow across our pods. These models are currently being revisited and reviewed within our cycle of ongoing school development work and are consequently at different stages of development.
