Reading

Please make sure that you are reading every day and recording in your reading record at least 3 times ready to show Mr Cain on Friday 19th November 2021.

 

Spellings

This week's spelling pattern is words ending in -cious and -tious.

Group 1 learn the following 10 spellings and Group 2 learn the following 5 spellings ready to be tested on Friday 19th November 2021.

Practise writing these words in sentences.

Learning from home

For those of you at home this week, use the resources below to complete your maths and English learning.

 

For maths, use the power-points to show how to complete the learning then complete the learning sheet which are also attached below. You can check your answers by looking at the power-points too.

 

For English, this week we are planning our own information text about a place and will then be writing the information text. Have a look at Ice Kingdom and think about how you can change it. Use the planning sheet and then write the text on Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Make sure you are reading every day and writing comments in your reading record. Use Accelerated Reader to complete any quizzes on books you finish.
