During the video, can you write the different stages of a frog’s and butterfly’s life-cycle?

 

Look at the attached power-points explaining the life-cycles of frogs and butterflies. Use these to help you with the learning task.

 

Find the meaning of metamorphosis.

 

Challenge:

Draw a life-cycle diagram of a frog an butterfly.

Then explain how the life-cycles are different. How are they similar? Why are there differences between the two life-cycles?

 

Wow:

Do all insects have the same life-cycle? Prove it.
