🌈Wellbeing Wednesday🌈

Every Wednesday, the whole school will be having a day focussing on our wellbeing. The activities will be related to their topics and will not require any technology. Each week you will have 3 different activities that can be done as a family.

We will see you on Teams at 9am for a quick story and some fun!

Activity 1 - Create a family board game

Can you and your family create a boardgame together that you can all play? You may want to think about a maths board game. It could be similar to snakes and ladders, noughts and crosses, twister or monopoly. You could think about the different questions you could ask. Adding and subtracting, number bonds to 10, 20, 50 and 100, counting in 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s. The possibilities are endless!! Here are some suggestions.

Activity 2 - Texture Hunt

On your daily walk can you go on a texture hunt and find all the different textures in nature?

Could you find the different textures in your house?

What vocabulary might you use to describe the different textures?

Here are some pictures to help you.

Activity 3 - How can you make a difference?

You are all fantastic at making a difference at school but how could you make a difference from home? You could write a letter to someone, draw a picture for a family member or a neighbour, could you make a phone call to someone you haven't spoken to recently, could you video call someone in your family or could you paint a pebble with a beautiful picture and put it somewhere in your community? These are just some ideas of what you could do to make a difference. If you really want to challenge yourself you could use our vision to help you.

Make a difference for good.

Make a difference with each other.

Make a difference for everyone.

Make a difference in our community.

Please send us any pictures from what you have been doing and have a lovely day.
