Opening Times

Our school day begins with a flexible start. Classrooms are open from 8.30 each morning and children come in to a range of 'Morning Tasks'.

There are no parent parking facilities on site, we suggest parents park safely nearby  or  at Gould's Garden Centre next door, who have kindly given permission for us to use their car park. We do operate a 'drop off' system each morning, where parents can pull up to the yellow hashed lines outside the Mulberry Bush Pre-school and let children out of the car under the supervision of  a member of the Leadership Team. This zone is NOT a parking one.

For parents and carers who are blue disabled badge  holders, parking in the disabled bays is permitted.

The school day starts formally at 8.45 with registers taken at this point. Pupils arriving after 8.45 will need to sign in at the office, and those who arrive after 9am will be recorded as late on our attendance data.

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, we do ask that the office is notified as soon as possible. The school operates a 'first call' system which means that if your child has not arrived, and we have not received any notification from parents, then you will be contacted by telephone to confirm your child's whereabouts. If you cannot be contacted, we will then continue to try the other contacts held for your child, in order to ensure their safety.

Our school day ends at 3pm, and parents usually meet children from classroom doors in KS1, or at the gates for KS2.
