It is helpful if you include ‘over-learning’ of counting and number recognition during your day. We might do this in school by counting and clapping as we line up or counting round a circle. When out on a walk you could choose something to keep count of as you walk (e.g. dogs you pass, green cars, lamposts).
We are continuing to use White Rose Maths videos to support home learning.
Please watch the days video, look at the task (click on ‘Get the Activity’ next to the video, or, download at bottom of page) and complete it.
We may also put other suggestions of activities that could be completed within the topic and there is a 'White Rose ideas and challenge' document available in downloads below. Please only complete these if you have time/wish to.
This week our learning is Week 2 of Building 9 and 10.

Hide numerals in the room, ask your grown up to give you an instruction (e.g. 1 more than 6) then run and fetch the numeral. Can you place it in roughly the right place?
Tuesday 2nd March
Session 2 –Comparing Numbers within 10

Roll a die with a family member. Who rolled the highest number? They earn a point (token). Repeat. You could play the game with the person that rolls the least earning the point.
Wednesday 3rd March Wellbeing Wednesday
Please don’t feel you have to complete this today, we would rather you were away from the screen.
