Remote Learning - information for parents

The online community are coming together in a big way to provide learning opportunities to children who are currently learning at home, however, if you're anything like us you'll be finding the sheer number of resources overwhelming. We've created this page to try to bring together all of the resources we've found.

A word of caution, we haven't had the chance to check all of these sites fully so please keep an eye on what your child is doing on the computer. If you find any links that don't work, or find a resource we haven't listed yet please get in contact through our Facebook page @standrewswey

Online Safety for Children

Most households have seen an increase in screen time, quite understandably! If you need some advice keeping your child safe, or understanding what they're up to, there is a lot of support available to keep your child safe online. Below are some useful links to help parents and carers:

Lockdown 3 - from 6th January 2021.

Remote learning which has been set for each class will be available on our website in another area.

Please click on:

  • 'Classes'
  • 'Remote Learning'

...then, follow the links from there.

Or, click this link to get to that page: https://www.standrewswey.dsat.org.uk/remote-learning/

If you have any problems or difficulties accessing the work and online learning platforms, please email your child's teacher directly or call/email the school office. We will do everything we can to support you to help you continue your child's education at home. Take care and stay safe.
