Home Learning Expectations

Daily Reading

We expect the children to be reading for pleasure every day at home. We expect them to record reading comments at least three times a week in their reading record and weekly diary book. If your child takes part in Lexia in school - they should also be accessing this regularly at home.

Spellings

Children will have weekly spellings - these will be on Purple Mash as they used during remote learning.  They will be tested on Friday. We expect them to use their reading record and weekly diary to practice these.

Maths

Children will be expected to use Mathletics and Times Table Rockstars. If your child takes part in Dynamo Maths in school - they should also be accessing this regularly at home.

Children can also access their Purple Mash accounts if they would like to complete any optional activities there.
