"The staff at St Andrew's Pre-School are truly incredible. Our son has always had very high separation anxiety and lack of confidence, and the staff have been comforting to him by helping him  develop resilience tremendously during his year at preschool. They have helped him flourish into the kind and empathetic little boy he is today. They have also always made sure I was comfortable leaving him, and always allowed me to help him settle in the classroom when they felt I needed a little extra time before letting him go. They give weekly updates of what the class has been doing in school, as well as more frequent observations and notes about our own child. The diversity of activities for free play is great, and kids also enjoy more structured learning time. Our son has learned many things while there (from counting to 20, writing his name, hibernation, patterns, the life cycle of a butterfly and frog…) I truly believe our son is going into reception as prepared as he could be. We have had a wonderful experience there."

"After moving to the area in November we moved our son to St Andrew's Pre-School.
Before Harry started we had a viewing and a settling in day where all the staff were friendly and welcoming and informative of what the preschool day would look like. Harry clung to me like glue so I thought just as before he will cry every morning as he did in his previous preschool.
Well I was very wrong.
He loves it here at St Andrew's Pre-School, he’s made some friends, loves outside play and exploring and tells me all about his day and is actually excited to go.( which in itself is a miracle to me) he doesn’t cry anymore and the structure to Harry’s day has helped him no end to fit in and feel comfortable.
The credit has to go to Jayne and her team because they have attended to Harry’s needs as an individual and not just generically. I would recommend  this setting to anyone who was looking to start their child in preschool.
